Corp. finance was pretty manageable considering that I only started studying it from scratch about 2 weeks before my paper, including borrowing the relevent textbook just 1.5weeks before the actual paper. HA! I literally PUKED everything that I've studied and memorised. Macro was a huge disappointment! I was so demoralized after the paper please! Seriously just a pass for macro would have sufficed.

I can't wait. It's just 2.5weeks till the end of my exams! I WILL BE A FREE BIRD ON 25TH MAY ONWARDS WHOOOO! PARTY PARTY PARY!!! :D

Ohman I had sucha tiresome weekend. Attended my Grandpa's birthday dinner on saturday and Ryan came with me! :) My parents and grandma actually invited him to come haha. And after that I had to rush off to Fel's 21st party at Downtown East. I reached there at about 11pm and then I had to rushhh off again to the boyf's house at cck!

Okay it was purely my idea. Well because my poor boy still has some work to do before leaving for Shanghai and he hasn't packed his luggage yet! So being the good girlfriend that I've always been, I bothered to take a cab down to his house and help him with the packing and stuffs. :) But ohwell at least we got to spend some quality time together before he left for Shanghai this morning. And his flight has to be at friggin' 8am on a sunday morning! Yeah so we took a cab to airport at about 6am. Hohoho we didn't sleep at all for the whole night before we left for the airport. So I sent him off and head straight back home to sleeeeeeeeeeep! Shall let the pics do the talking. :)

Just spoke to the boyf a few minutes ago. Sigh, he sounded SO TIRED! Every monday is like hell for him because he has to work from morning to evening and still has to attend class from 6.45pm to 10.15pm. 3.5hrs of lecture is seriously no joke man! And sigh he really sounded so so so tired just now. My heart ached.

Sometimes I really take my hat off to the boyf! He can actually tolerate one whole hectic day at work with just 3-4 hours of sleep the night before. I mean yes perhaps I could still keep myself awake at work with just 3-4hrs of sleep but I don't think my brain will be functioning well enough to even do my work properly! And to think that he has to stare at all the Balance Sheet, Income statements etc etc whole day long. That's why I said I'M SO UBER PROUD OF HIM when his seniors and managers are like praising him regarding his job performance at work! I have sucha smart and capable boyfriend, don't I? :)

I love him, I love him, yes I do, so very much. He came into my life unexpectedly, and never did I imagine that we'd even be together when I first saw him in office on my very first day of work 2 years ago. My friends (those who know him too) were shocked. Perhaps, just perhaps, they might have gossiped among one another and tried to guess if we could even last. I'm so glad, so very contented that we've come thus far and still going strong. We've done so many things together, the ups&downs we had, but I'm proud to say that we're still standing strong as one, has a joint bank account, and have plans to go overseas together again sometime this year etc etc. He's the only guy whom can make me feel so much at ease when I'm with him, he's the only one whom can make me be the REAL me when I'm with him. And fyi, we just crapped on the phone for 1hr8min from 3am-4am yesterday! It was like 95% of the call duration was nonsensical stuffs but at least I made him laugh! See, this is what I meant by WE CAN REALLY CLICK VERY WELL! Be it nonsense or serious matters, there's just an infinite amount of things we can talk and crap about. Hehhh. :D

I don't care if you readers think that this is some kind of PDA on my blog but let me say this again (friends, just tolerate with me okay cos there will be many more to come in my entries in the future.)

My poor poor dearest boy Ryan. Just chatted on the phone for a few minutes just now and guess what, he just left office about an hour ago! Well he just started on a new job auditing for a company in Bugis area. Thank goodness he had a light dinner before heading back to his own office at Raffles Place to finish off the rest of his work. My. Heart. Ached. :( And he said next week might be an even busier week for him because one of his colleagues who is on the current job with him is going back Auckland, so there goes his workload piling up like a mountain. :( MY HEART IS ACHING. :'(

BUT... something to cheer me up here and probably him too! :D A piece of good news which he told me yesterday. I'm glad his performace at work has been good and his managers are kinda satisfied with him. Well you see, the staffs have to be assessed by their seniors/managers after every job so they are actually given a "report card" kind of thing after that. I'm glad he did well! I'M SO PROUD OF MY SMARTYASS BOYFRIEND!!! Geeeeez. :D

Had an enjoyable night spent with Ryan. :) No posh restaurant, no food that costs more than 20bucks per person, no romantic ambience, just a simple yet nice dinner of beef noodles & minced pork noodles at a foodcourt, and walking hand in hand around town after that. Sometimes you find yourself enjoying the moments spent in the simplest ways, and you feel the contentment in the most inexplicable way.

Dearest Ryan had a hectic day at work and I could see he was mentally drained. My heart ached. But all I could do was to make him laugh with the silliest things I do, and the silliest things I say, which he did. The smile on his face and his laughter - priceless.

OH MY GAWD, I NEED TO RANTTTT!!!!

I'm feeling uber stressed over exams which will commence in about 6 weeks time. Year 1 seemed MUCH easier!! There's seriously soooo much stuffs to study, imagine understanding, digesting, memorising a year worth of syllabus for 4 different modules and there's NOTHING to pull your grades up because none of the assignments is assessed! Sometimes there's just SO MUCH you can absorb and once you've reached the brink of exhaustion ( for your brain), you just can't take in anymore! If Santa's here, I'd have asked for these 2 items....

1) A sponge - Yes, I wished my brainnnn is a sponge so that I could absorb whatever information I've been immersed into.

2) A 10GB thumbdrive - Save all the information into the thumbdrive, connect it to my head during the exam!! 2.5GB for each module, should be enough?!!

OKAY CAN YOU SEE THAT I'M REALLYYYY SO STRESSED UP TILL I COULD EVEN THINK OF SUCH CRAPPPP?!!!

Damn you exams. I hate you soooo much that I wish you never existed. Never felt so helpless before, at least the things that I studied in O's and A's seemed much easier to understand than dumb banking, finance, economics and accounting stuffs!!!

Just got back from a family dinner not too long ago. Dad treated us to a seafood restaurant at East Coast for a reunion dinner. Okay so Dad was the one who initiated to ask the boyf along! Hahaha I was kinda happy when my dad said "Eh this friday got a reunion dinner..ask Ryan along" :) Am glad that my family gets along with him really well! He's sucha likeable idiot isn't he. My bro even fetched him all the way home to CCK voluntarily. The amicability and bonding between the boyf and my family makes me feel uber contented. :)

I'm craving for steamboat now! Grrr. My friends were like "Ahhh, I had steamboat almost everyday during CNY and now I'm sick of it." I didn't even have a single one. :( Reunion dinner was home-cooked food cos my mum thinks preparing for steamboat is sucha hassle.

Had a CNY gathering with my sajc class last friday! Haha I think it was the best picnic I've ever had. Thanks to Sengyong who organized this outing and of course, the yusheng that HE made! We had a potluck at Marina Barrage, played silly games like indian poker, 7up and zhong ji mi ma. HAHA! Yeah then it was time to meet the boyf for dinner after work. :)

Oh and he came over to my house to bainian on saturday. My parents love him to the max please. My mum gave him quite a huge angpow! And my dad even initiated to invite him to a family dinner this friday at a restaurant. I'm kinda err, impressed. :)

HAPPY CNY & HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYBODY + HAPPY 21ST MONTH U-KNOW-WHO!! :)

So the boyf and I spent the whole night out yesterday. Went to River Hongbao after dinner. I wouldn't say it was very impressive cos the decorations there are just so-so only. But anyway it's the company that mattered most. There were fireworks at 12am and we climbed the stairs ALL THE WAY UP to the very last row of the stands at that floating platform! Omg it was a tad tiring, but at least we had a scenic view of the night skyline and most importantly the fireworks! Loved it totally :D

OHYES, the boyf cracked me up AGAIN. -_-

Ryan: "I'm always very popular during CNY.."

I have the sudden urge to driveee! It's been six months since the incident (yeah I buang-ed my bro's car sometime in July 2009), and I have yet to muster up my courage to drive again. Phobia phobia. My dad's willing to let me drive his car but it's way too big for me and I'm gonna be a hazard on the roads for sure. :/

It's barely 4 months to exams. It felt like I've just started school for only 2 months but as a matter of fact, my second year uni commenced 4 months ago.

Christmas, New Year celebration, my 21st birthday are all over. It's time to put everything aside and concentrate on the big exam this coming May. I hate myself for procrastinating all the time and not getting things done when I'm supposed to.

I'm gonna start my intensive revision as of today and keep the aim of GETTING MY 1ST CLASS/2ND CLASS UPPER HONOURS in mind! I just need 4 more core modules with a 1st class hons score. Sounds easy but frankly, it's far from that. It's freaking hard. :( Study hard girl, study hard.

Something to cheer me up here. Met up with the boyf 5 times in a week! Friday was our 20th month anniversary and we had a simple dinner at Cine. Saturday was our par-tor day as usual, then I accompanied him to buy his iPhone on Sunday! He only paid $68 for goodness sake. Dirt cheap. But anyhows, we have exactly the same phone now, same colour, just that his is 3GS but mine's not. Couple phone? Lol. :)

You're indispensable, you're irreplaceable. It's been 20months and I still can't get enough of you. Tell me, tell me why am I so addicted? It's like I checked into rehab and boy, you're my drug. :)

Though some of you couldn't turn up but the calls from you guys made up for it. :) It's my MOST memorable birthday celebration in my life and I'm grateful to every single of you! But yeah, sorry to some of you who had to travel all the way from the west to the east just to attend my party haha. That includes Huipin who stays in Jurong, Zhi Cong who has to go back to camp at CCK, and not forgetting my silly boy who brought his heavy laptop plus a HUGE bottle of Vodka and travelled all the way from CCK. It's still quite unbelievable that we're stepping into the next decade and in no time to come, I'm gonna be a working adult soon! Yes, you sense that excitement in me again! Haha. But oh well, I still got to mug hard for my 2nd year uni and make sure my results are good enough for a second class upper at least.

My 21st birthday party's this sunday! I have no idea how the bash is gonna turn out to be, just hoping that nothing screws up! Hohoho, and I'm touched that some of my friends actually offered their help in deco and other stuffs. Thank you guys. :)

1 more day to 2010! It felt like we've just counted down to 2009 like maybe 6 months ago but it's been 365 days actually! How times flies man. The start of 2010 means I have to start muggingggg for my exams in May! Argh, I'm dreading it, but it means I'm a step closer to my graduation and working life. You might think I'm nuts, but I think I'd rather work than to study! You get a monthly salary, you get to dress up nicely to work, and you don't have to fret over assigments, tests and exams over the weekends. And most importantly, I'm sure by then my parents will no longer treat me like a kid and I can finally say bye to my curfew. :)

Just a few updates here. I went for a roadtrip to Malaysia with my family last week! It was pretty scary driving in Malaysia man! I'd rather be driven around than to be the driver because the drivers are oblivious to the road rules! Yeah anyway thank goodness I was back safe and sound on X'mas eve. Met up with the boyf right after reaching Spore in the evening. :) This silly boy gave me a surprise xmas gift because we've initally made a pact that we're not gonna exchange gifts this year. Yeah so I was at his house and I told him I had to go to the toilet and I left my bag in his room. This silly boy secretly placed it in my bag while I was in the toilet and when I saw it in my bag after that, I was practically beaminggg. Haha!

Yes, it's another Stitch! Haha but he looks exceptionally cute here! :)

Okay I'm waiting for Ryan's call right now. Hope that he ends work early again. :)

TIRED. Spent the weekend with the boyf and I only had 4hrs of sleep!

Met up with the boyf after work on friday for dinner and played Left 4 Dead.

Cavin's wedding dinner was yesterday, so I went to the boyf's house straight after school and headed to Park Royal hotel. Then it was clubbing with his malaysian colleagues at some club at Raffles City but we left earlier than them cos we wanted to catch Storm Warriors at Plaza Sing. The movie ended at abt 4.30am and because there wasn't any public buses yet, we went to play L4D again! Hahaha we're hooked on to this game like seriously.

It was about 7.30am when we left the lan shop! Nocturnal animals eh haha. Took 190 back to CCK but we couldn't sleep till it was about 11am. To think I had a lesson on saturday and I was actually awake throughout the 26 hours till 11am on sunday! Tell me I'm crazy.. haha.

Nonetheless, it was still quality time spent. :) Every single milli-second of it is so very precious to me.

Yet another AWESOME day spent with the boyf once again. :) He's on study leave for about 2 weeks so I made my way down to his house after school today. His mum's really really nice to me and I'm so happy about it. Teeheehee. :) Oh and have I mentioned that she cooks yummylicious food too!

Ahh shucks, I'm so lazy to update my blog! Maybe because I have 2 blogs to update and I'm just plain lazy!

Heh but the past week has been great for me! Celebrated Mel's 20th birthday last friday and I'm glad the surprise turned out as planned and yes, I was the mastermind! Most importantly, our bestie Mel was so happy on that day and I'm contented too. :)

Haven't seen my boy for 6 days since last saturday because he was out on job to audit for a firm at Alexandra so it was kinda hard to meet up with him for lunch/dinner. But thank God I got to see him just now! He brought me to Bukit Gombak for prawn noodles. :) My silly boy ordered an upsize for me when I'm sucha small-eater. Haha but anyhows, dinner was good with him around. (:

Ohman, christmas is coming real soon! And before you know it, 2009's ending soon and then it's time to say hello to 2010! Ahh, how time flies! My bro suggested having a road trip to JB, KL & Genting with my family sometime in Dec just before christmas. Okay urm, I'm not exactly looking forward to it prolly because 4 of us are gonna squeeze into a single room and I dread that my dad's gonna SNORE through the night! And for all you know, he snores so loudly that you could hardly fall asleep because it's simply annoying..... Grrrr.

Yay, gonna attend a wedding dinner with the boyf in Dec too! It's been about 4 years since I attended one and that was my sis's wedding back then in 2006. I know it can be a chore because sometimes you're just so unwilling to fork out that hundred bucks on angpow, but I kinda like attending wedding dinners because you get to see lovey dovey couples walking down the aisle with a love song playing in the background. So sweet. It makes me wanna fall in love all over again (with the same guy of course), it makes me think that everything in a relationship is worth fighting for. :)

I'm missing the 3D2N Genting getaway with the boyf soooooo much now. ): I chanced upon the folder named "Genting Trip 14th Oct-16th Oct" and took a glimpse of all the pictures we took. Those 3days (or rather 4 days, because I stay over at his house the night before.) were simply a-w-e-s-o-m-e. Yes I know, Genting's only mountains and mountains away from spore but what beats the quality time spent together?

Awww, I just miss those days.... :(

The boyf is on his way on SQ118 to Kuala Lumpur right now, right at this moment. He's there for a work trip. Just got back from the airport not too long ago.. I went to send him off. :) We only managed to spend about 30min together before he needed to enter the gate. He will be back this friday (yes, it's only 5 days but I know I'm gonna miss him, badly.) Just that the thought of him being mountains & mountains away from me is kind of sucky. And silly me actually went to a photo-shop at Whitesands before I headed to the airport and did an instant print of a wallet-size picture of us so that he could bring it there, just because I thought he'd forget about it. But he remembered! Hahaha. I was like soooo damn happy when he opened his wallet, and showed me the photo that he's gonna bring there. :)

I know this 5 days wouldn't feel the same without him in Singapore, but he said he will call me every night and this makes me a happy, happy, very happy girl... :)

The boyf's whole family went overseas, so..... WE MESSED UP THE KITCHEN YESTERDAY! Hahaha okay we didn't exactly made a mess 'cause we cleaned up after that. Went for some grocery shopping first and we bought a $20 worth of MaoShanWang durian! Madness man, I seriously don't understand why the harmful looking spiky fruit actually costs a bomb. The boyf was on half day leave yesterday so I met him for lunch and we checked my results together using my iPhone. He was the first person who saw my scores and this silly boy almost made my heart skip a beat because he kinda played a prank on me. SILLY BOY. But anyways, I think I did quite well and I'm happy about it. :) I swear I'm gonna study my ass off for Year 2 and get my 1st class honours by hook or by crook.

School is finally starting on 22nd Sept! I am not exactly dreading it because I'd get to see all my friends again plus chilling out with them in school, but I'm not really looking forward to it either. My year 2 modules are gonna be uber tough, imagine squeeeeeezing all the facts and info into my tiny weeeeeeny brain. Yet, I can't wait to graduate, get the ever-so-important cert after a freaking 18 years of education. And then, my boy and I can start turning our fabricated ideal future that we've been discussing on into reality. :)

My monthly cramps are killing me! It's so terrible that I'm having backaches too. I'm like wincing in pain every single moment and I can't even walk properly. Yes, that's how bad it is every month. Sigh.

The only consolation? I got to see my precious yesterday for a movie and I'm gonna see him again tomorrow. :) We watched Final Destination 4 and gosh, it was quite horrible. The gory scenes were really gruesome but thank goodness we still had appetite for our Macs dinner yesterday. Final Destination 3 was way better I thought.

The boyf kinda liked the caption "Rest In Pieces" Haha.

Hohoho.. and and and, I PASSED ALL MY MODULES! Well actually the results will only be out this coming Tuesday but Kangwei called me this morning and told me he has a way to check so he helped me with it. :) I can enjoy my weekends to the max now! YAY. :D

So the boyf and I have been meeting up every single day for the past 11 days. Haha. I know I've said something about being gluey in one of my previous posts but I just can't get enough of him! He can be sucha sweetie sometimes. :) My main motivation for getting up early in the morning for work : I can get to see him after work. :) It's so convenient because there's a straight bus from my office to his, and it only takes 10min. And besides that, he still calls me every night before he sleeps and we can chat for at least an hour haha. It's funny that we have so much crap to talk about.

Our Genting trip is more or less confirmed, gonna go book this weekend I guess. :) I can't wait...

1) Came across something interesting at work today. I was doing some no-brainer data entry and I chanced upon this company's name called XXXX BIRD & BIRD LLP! Hahahaha. I almost burst out into fits of laughter in the ever-so-quiet office, and it was worse when I saw that the email address was something like xxx@twobirds.com. I mean who'd ever name their company with such hilarious names right! Curiosity killed the cat. I actually went to google this co and hohoho, it's a LAW firm for goodness sake! LOL okayokay, I better stop here or I might receive a letter from a lawyer in my mailbox tomorrow.

2) An ahbeng sat behind me yesterday while I was on my way home at about 9plus at night. His friend called and this is how the conversation went. (whatever his friend said is just an assumption.)

Ahbeng: " Eh, I reach Pasir Ris already, where is your stop?"
Friend: "3 stops after you pass by the mrt track"
Ahbeng: "mrt track?"
Friend: "Yah you will pass by Whitesands first then a park"

Just had a 4d3n stay-over at the boyf's place. How time flies when you're enjoying every moment of it eh? I was soooo happy when friday came and now I'm back home facing the four walls of my room. Reality hits. :(

Say we are nocturnal. I think we've been turning in at 7am and waking up at 4pm/5pm in the past 4 days! Hahaha. But it was fun. :) Had a nice dinner at Dian Xiao Er with his parents on saturday night. Went to meet Leesa (our ex-colleague) and Grace for a drink at a pub around somerset after that. Saturday was the craziest cos we kbox-ed at cine till 6am (sunday morning)! It's been so long since I k-ed and I had heaps of fun especially with the boyf around. :) His atrocious singing makes him cute though! Hahaha.

Headed to Westmall on Sunday night. We had a pair of FREE movie tickets to GI Joe! Okay here's what happened. We were having dinner at the foodcourt when a couple approached us and asked if we've watched GI Joe. So the boyf was like, no we haven't watched it, and then the lady gave us to movie tickets for free! Well actually she claimed that "we bought the wrong tickets" Haha. But we had 2 movie tickets for free that's worth $9.50 each! How lucky eh.

The boyf's sucha sweet little thing. I told him I had cravings for prata and he brought me to this prata house at Bukit Timah yesterday. :) And guess what, we walked back from Bukit Timah back to his house at Choa Chu Kang! We took a close to 2 hours stroll and I think the distance was about 5km? I swear I was damn tired when we finally reached his house but I simply loveeee long walks with him! The way he held my hand walking through those ulu pavements, the way he kept assuring me that it isn't scary at all. It's just an indescribable feeling, and how I wish I could have "night-hikes" with him every weekend.

Quality time spent together indeed. I wanna have more stay-overs at the boyf's place! I wish I could....

My new job is seriously boring me to death! It's getting so mundane that I could just doze off anytime and I had to depend on coffee and snacks to keep myself awake. E-buddied with the boyf today! Haha we were literally crapping throughout the whole conversation but at least he cheered me up. :) Oh, and have I mentioned that we have to reach Raffles City at 7am tomorrow?! I have no idea why can't they just ask the perm staffs to do it and this isn't even within my jobscope as stated on the contract. Ha, perhaps this is what they meant by ad-hoc duties eh. Well okay actually I don't mind helping out, but wearing the appropriate attire for sucha decorous event is one hell of a hassle. And what kinda pissed me off is that none of the perm staffs initiated to bring blazers for the temps. Come on, I'm sure some of them would have more than one to spare right? My poor mum has to ransack her wardrobe just to find a blazer for me. >.< My contract ends on 14th Aug, THANK GOODNESS! Getting a pathetic pay of only 6 bucks an hour doesn't motivate me in any way.

AND SOCCER IS FINALLY BACK ON SUNDAY!!! Nah, EPL/BPL hasn't started yet but at least it's gonna be a match that is worth watching. :) Manutd vs Chelsea. Manutd to win 2-0!

It's my first day of my temp job today and also the boyf's first day of work of his new job! How coincidental. :) Fated or what? Haha. :)

Anyway my first day of work was CRAP! I had a meeting in the boardroom with the perm staffs till about 7.15pm when we're supposed to knock of at 5.30pm! And and and, I HAVE TO FREAKING GET UP AT 4.30AM LATER because we have to reach Orchard Hotel at 6.30am! There's some business event going on tomorrow and I'll be there as a receptionist! Gonna see lotsa big shots, big bosses, VIPs and a few ministers. It's definitely gonna be an eye opener for me tomorrow and I know I'm crazy to say that I'm kinda excited over it minus the waking-up-at-43oam-part.

Something to cheer me up, I'm gonna meet the boyf tomorrow for dinner! I CAN'T WAIT..... :) He's sucha lovely thing. :)

2 days ESCAPADE :)

Met the boyf at his house at about 4pm, placed my stuffs there first.

Headed to Westmall for an early dinner and our bomberman game AGAIN.

Walked around Westmall for a little while then the boyf suggested,

"Let's walk back home from here?"

OMG.

I was like, that's soooo far! Haha.

But I didn't mind cos I just love his company. :)

Walked hand in hand, chatted and crapped along the way from Bukit Batok to Choa Chu Kang. <3

He brought me to this nice park called Xiao Guilin but too bad it was too dark and we couldn't really see anything.

He said he'd being me there again next time. :)

Finally reached his house about 1hr30min later?

I think the distance was almost 8km man!

It was tiring, but I know it was all worth it.

It's the priceless time spent together that mattered. :)

Slacked around, watched tv at his house after that.

Then it was prata supper with Kailun at Bukit Batok (yes, we're back there again. But kailun drove there haha so it's okay.)

Reached home at about 1230am, watched tv, and the boyf was playing his psp while I was watching ANTM on channel 5.

Lihwee called, so we went down to meet him for a little while.

It's funny and hilarious when those 2 guys start talking. HAHA.

Then it was time for bed, but both of us couldn't get to sleep at all!

I was widely awake after my bath and so was he.

Had a heart-to-heart talk on the bed with the boyf. :)

I think we chatted for about 2hrs man!

I really wanted him to know how much I enjoy his company..

It's an undescribable feeling. :)

It was already 5am before we knew it!

We didn't sleep at all for the entire night!

I was wondering if we could stay awake for the whole of saturday.

He suggested going down for breakfast before setting off.

So I went to get changed, went for breakfast, then to Lot1 to assemble.

We were one of the early birds man!

The trip wasn't really fun,

but I was just glad that I had the boyf with me for the whole day.

He took very good care of me. :)

And I fell asleep on his shoulders almost every single time we got on to the bus for the next destination haha!

The boyf's starting work next week. Received a call from him this afternoon and he told me he got an offer from Rowsley already. :) I was happy for him, but I felt this tiny tinge of tribulation in my heart too.

Gonna say goodbye to the times when we've been seeing each other at least 3 times a week for the past 2 months, and soon we'll be back to meeting up only once a week like how we used to be in the first 13 months of our relationship. I know there were times when I went all the way to Orchard for just an hour of lunch with you, but like I said, it was only ONE hour. Saturdays were the only times when we could spend quality time together. I can't believe that I have to return to that kind of lifestyle again and it makes me SO SAD. :(

Sigh, why does the boyf stay in CCK and I stay in Pasir Ris? It feels like he's a milionnnnn miles away from me. I'd be a happier girl if our houses are within the same vicinity so that we could meet up for late night supper or something.

I'm gonna miss you...badly. :(

Yes, you heard me, FIVE! Singapore performed pretty okay in the first half since they were able to hold up Liverpool with a goaless draw. But Voronin made an anomaly and scored just at stoppage time. I kinda regretted not going for the match though! But it's okay.. the boyf was right. I'd rather save the $88 for our coming Genting trip. :)

Just wondering. Life's so unfair! My bro reminded me that most of the soccer players are MULTI-millionaires, be it EPL, Spanish or Italian leagues. Normal people like us have to work like a dog for a few years when those players can easily earn that same sum of money in a month! I'm gonna nurture my kid into a professional football player next time and make sure he makes it to any team in EPL. :)

The boyf and I are having the Bomberman craze now. I think we've been playing it on every date we had since about a month ago. It's funny how he tried to protect me from those monsters in the game and yet I'd still get killed. I suck at those games, don't I? And now I'm trying to download an online Bomberman game if possible. Wanna "train-up" so that I can survive through the game till the very last stage. Haha. :)

We're going for a 1-day Durian Tour on 1st Aug! A one day getaway with the boyf. :)

Just a food for thought....

Are relationships really that fragile?

Nah, don't worry, I'm not having any problem with my r/s right now.. But this is one question that really sets me thinking and ponder. Okay firstly, what triggered me to post to entry is the perpetual words of "I broke up with my gf" and "I broke up with my bf" that I kept hearing from friends around me and darling's friends.

Some of the most common reasons: -

1) "I see no future with him/her"

Oh what the heck, I think this is the most ridiculous excuse ever. What sense does it make to mention the word FUTURE when you are only about 20 years plus of age? He simply meant that he's uncertain if he's able to live on with her in the next 10, 20, 30 years and the rest of his life. Okay I shall put my point across here. Being in a relationship means that you should understand each other needs and wants, accept him/her for WHO he/she is. Nobody is perfect, nobody is flawless. Even if you think that he/she is not the one for you right now right at this moment, it doesn't mean that the couple can't work things out together right? Unless you guys have tried for the umpteenth time and still to no avail, I think that one shouldn't give up on a relationship so easily (that is IF they really really love each other.) In my regard, being able to find someone whom you truly love is like hitting the bull's eye with a bluntly pointed dart. Haha I've never felt like this before during my teenage days but to date, I've kinda come to realise the true "feeling" of being in love. Even if his/her attitude or actions are totally getting on your nerves, try talking to the other party nicely and work things out. Concluding a relationship with "I see no future with you" is the silliest thing to do.

2) "I've fallen for somebody else."

This sounds inevitable somehow. People change their hearts just like how seasons change. But to me, this sounds more like a BETRAYAL.

3) "He/she is not give me enough freedom"

Hahaha I don't know how many times have I heard my friends complaining to me about this. Everyone needs their own breathing space I guess? Being in a relationship doesn't mean you're OBLIGED to spend most of your time with your bf/gf. We have our families and friends, don't we have to spend some time with them too? Think about this, if something were to happen to your relationship and you need some comfort or consolation, they are the ones who will be there for you. I think seeing each other EVERYDAY before marriage is totally ridiculous and unhealthy for a relationship. Call it gluey. I detest it.

Haha I'm actually very contented with how my relationship is going now. We're okay with each other going out with our own friends, we're not complaining that we're not spending enough time with each other, and most importantly, we seem to understand each other pretty well.

I'm used to... my lazybones bf who is totally ignorant to any noise in the surroundings when he's asleep, and I'd chain-call him PATIENTLY till he wakes up.

I'm used to... eating just normal foodcourt/hawker food and not splurging on expensive food like how we did last time (darling spent 1k just on food for the 1st 7mths we were tgt). It's the company that matters afterall. :)

I'm used to... him hanging out with his friends late at night, playing mahjong till wee hours in the morning. That's because I trust him and most importantly, he's a really great bf who will tell me beforehand if he's going to play mahjong or something. It was because of his truthfulness and transparency that built up the trust I have for him.

I'm used to... him calling me every night since we got together and we'd crap till we crack. HAHA!

Did I mention that I have a sudden craze over Michael Jackson now?! Yeah I know I know, the craze only started when he passed away about 2 weeks ago. I guess I'm not the only one eh. Walk pass any dvd/vcd shop, and you'll see people crowding around the tv cos almost every shop is playing his concert dvd! It's pretty sad that it was his death that reminded us about his existence in the music pop scene. I remember how my brother used to idolize him about more than a decade ago. His sleek dance moves, his screeching-yet-pleasing vocals, and his trademark moonwalk were absolutely commendable.

Forget about his paedophile saga, forget about why he has undergone so many plastic surgery, remember him for who he is and the reason why he is called the KING OF POP.

What a phenomenon he has made, really. :)

Holidays are getting way too boring! I've been applying for administrative jobs online but most of them requires you to sign a minimum of 3mths contract with them which obviously is out of my choice. School is gonna start in about 2mths time anyway! Weird, I'm dreading for my year2 uni to start and yet I'm complaining about how monotonous my holidays are. How ironic. But ohwell, at least I get to meet my friends and spend more time with the boyf. :)

Ahhhh, I'm so tired! I was practically out for the whole day with the boyf but the point is, wearing a 2.5 inches high heels really KILLS! It doesn't help when you just played tennis for almost 3hrs two days ago and when your muscles are aching. Met the boyf at Cityhall, headed down to Chinatown after that, then to Vivo City, then to Orchard. My feets hurts from all the walking. :(

Thanks to the boyf for accompanying me to some job agency @ Raffles Place today. :) I'm so damn tired now! The interview ended at about 5.30pm, and we walked all the way from Rafffles Place to Chinatown for about an hour! Haha, the boyf "claims" that he wanted to bring me around places that I haven't been to so he brought me to this so called "exploration tour" with him. Omg, I was kinda panting after walking for an hour! It was damn tiring but fun. :) Okay so then we ended up at the OG hawker centre and had our dinner.

Oh and I passed my driving yesterday! Hoorays to that. Driving auto cars are like much easier than manual cars man, seriously. My bro even gave me a set of his car keys! But obviously, I wouldn't dare to drive alone without the supervision of an experienced driver.

Had a buffet feast at Park Royal Hotel today! Omg, I was literally filled to the brim please! The chocolate fondue was simply HEAVENLY. I've got a sweet tooth. :) And guys, please have a good laugh at the father's day present! Hahaha. My dad was laughing hysterically at it. LOL. :D I'm sucha naughty kid.

Just cleaned up my hamsters' cage just now. Did a pretty good job for the first time and it's all spick and span now. :) Rainy & Lindy are getting fatter!

Anyway, holidays have been great. Still hunting for a job now though! Trying to spend more time with the boyf at the moment before the both of us start work and when my school term starts again. I seriously dread going back to the days when I can only see the boyf for only twice or sometimes only once a week. Sigh, it's just about 3months more before school starts. Direful. :(

The boyf bought me 2 hamsters today! Okay, I've wanted it all along since a few weeks ago cos I'd always stop by those pet shops in shopping centres and get all excited over those cutey hamsters running around. I wished I could have them and the boyf finally bought them for me today! *Skips to my lou!*

Heh, I named them Rainy(sounds like Ryan) and Lindy(sounds like jiaLIN)! But urm, both of them are males though! I only wanted 1 hamster initially but the boyf says the hamster will be lonely and he wanted to buy 1 male 1 female. But it's gonna be damn troublesome when it starts to multiply and the shopkeeper even warned us that if we were to give those babies away to those ulu pet shops, they might feed the reptiles with it! And the thing is, those more popular pet shops like Pet Lovers Centre and Pet Safari won't accept those hamsters if I were to give them away. Yeah so we got both males eventually! :)

I was observing them for abt 1hr just now and I still couldn't differentiate the both of them! Oh well, I gotta find a way somehow! Haha. :)

Lastly, thanks to the boyf for everything! For accompanying me the whole day today and carrying all the heavy stuffs for me. :) I will take good care of Rainy and Lindy! :)

Movie with the boyf today! OH MY GOD, DRAG ME TO HELL IS SERIOUSLY ONE HELL OF A HORROR MOVIE! I was terribly freaked out and even wanted to leave the cinema halfway through the movie. I could really feel the chills shuddering down my spine. I swear I almost burst out crying. =\ I mean the movie is only a PG film, not even NC16 or M18 so I was like, okay..how scary can this movie be? No kick lah. Okay wait, I'm not a scardey cat or whatsoever but this movie totally scared the wits out of me! Those creepy scenes came at the most unexpected moments and before you could be mentally prepared on what's gonna happen next, the spooky, wrinkled old woman with calloused skin appears right in front of you. Perfect. A piece of advice, this movie is definitely not for the faint hearted! To think I was actually still in a daze for about half an hour after the movie. I was just, traumatized. =\

But anyhow, thanks the boyf for suggesting this movie eh. Like uh, THANKS LAH.. Hahahaha!

Life is sucha complicated thing.

It's like uh, a jigsaw puzzle? You assemble the bits of pieces of it, ensuring that every piece is fixed nicely and then you get a nice complete picture at the end of the day. You stumble upon some obstacles along the way, having no clue of which and what the next piece should be.

A penny for my thoughts.

Sometimes I really wonder how long I'd live, and what's gonna happen 10yrs, 20yrs. 50yrs down the long and winding road. You know, you'll reach a point in life whereby you'd stop and ponder about your future. Get my degree, find a good job, get married, have a nice house, get a car, have kids, then retire. Is it gonna be a "happily-ever-after" after that?

Okay, I sound like I'm worried about my future but rather, I'm just curious about what's gonna happen in the next 20yrs of my life. Will I be at least a "half-a-millionaire" by then? Will I be with the man I love for the rest of my life? Will my kids resemble me or daddy? Will I be all frail and ugly when I'm old?

Perhaps when I'm finally 80yrs old one day, I'd look back at my blog entries ( that is if blogspot is still alive) and then I'll have the answers to everything. :)

The poor boyf is having exams now. My heart aches when he gets all stressed up and even lost his appetite. I feel so helpless cos there's nothing much I can do to help him. I can't answer his doubts, I can't be right by his side for 24/7 making sure he sleeps and eats well. I'll definitely give him my 101% unstinting support and just be there whenever he needs me. It's funny how irritated I get whenever my parents try to drag me off my bed when I'm still sleepy, and how accommodating I am whenever the boyf calls me at the most unearthly hour like 4am 5am 6 am or 7am. I'd answer his calls so willingly, chat till wee hours even if the stuffs that we talked about are nonsensical craps. It awwws my heart when he insisted on sending me to the busstop and shopping with me for my bro's present though I know he's dead tired.

You know it has always been a trend to compose some inspirational song for the finale for every season, and I must say this is one of the best. Frankly, Adam Lambert did a better rendition of this song than Kris Allen and I was keeping my fingers crossed that Adam would be crowned the American Idol this season. He's got all it takes to be a star and oh gosh, his rock songs are just simply awesome plus his emotional slow songs are great as well. He's the kind of singer that you need in a concert that'd get the adrenaline rush pumping in the fans and audiences. Doesn't matter that he didn't win it, I'll still buy his album. :)

Okay, it purely wasn't my idea. The boyf called me last night and told me to choose 2 nice photos of us cos his sis had some 20 foc 8R photos that she can develop. So the boyf suggested making a collage since 8R is as big as an A4 size paper. I was like woah, I didn't even think of that. Haha. Okay I admit I was kinda lazy to do it but ohwell, I know it's worth the effort and time. :) Woohoo! It was indeed a great job done when he showed them to me just now! I felt this tiny tinge of achievement and aww-so sweet feeling that pervaded me. I'm glad it kinda cheered me up from what happened earlier in the day ( yes, i WAS so pissed). I managed to keep myself from getting fixated on whatever that happened and started smiling silently in my heart. :)

It's really amazing how you could piss me off in a minute, and then cheer me up again in the very next minute. I don't know if anyone could make me feel this way. Not at the moment, at least. :)

Alright, gonna continue with my Angels&Demons now! Gonna meet the boyf again tomorrow and wednesday. :) 3 consecutive days! That makes me a really happy girl!

Fun fun fun day we had today! Met up with my beloveds at cityhall! I MISS THEM SO MUCH! Okay so basically we went to Marina Square XinWang for some snacks first and zomg, I bumped into my secondary school "enemy" there! Of all places in spore. Unfortunately. Alright then after that we went to Astons @ Suntec. The food was simply yummylicious and most imptly, it was affordable. :) Went CHIJMES for a drink after that without ailin cos she wasn't feeling well. And...

I GOT REDDDDDD AFTER DRINKING JUST HALF A GLASS OF VODKA ORANGE JUICE!

Goodness gracious. Call me a lousy drinker. It's just an undeniable fact. I can't drink for NUTS. Just 2 glass of vodka lime can get me tipsy........

EXAMS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER! :)

Yeah! The day that I've been waiting for, finally. But here's another question, how am I gonna spend the next 3 months before school starts again? I was kinda desperate for a job before exams even ended. I'd show you my posb bank book if I could and you'd know why. ( The machine was practically busy updating the "withdrawal" column.) Yes, you get what I mean. :)

But anyway, I realized I can only start working in July 'cos my most dreaded driving test is in June and my instructor was like, " 你去做功你怎么学 driving? 我星期六，星期天很忙的 leh." And I was like, okay seems like I can only start working in july! Damn driving, if only I passed it the first time, I would have saved the hassle.

So I guess my life will be spent in a perpetual alternation between eat, sleep, and play in the next 1 month or so! Gonna be busy catching up with my secondary school and jc friends, and of course meeting up with the boyf more and moreee! Mmm, sounds good. :)

Meeting the boyf later for Angels & Demons! Yayness! Snuggling my head into his neck and nestling on his chest is just so comfy. =) Oh, and that reminds me. We were watching some horror movie and I had to use his palm to cover the screen while peeping through the gap of between his fingers. I wonder how silly I looked. Heh. The thought of being able to see him later and feeling his presence right beside me makes me a really happy girl now!

Wheee! The boyf is back from KL safe and sound. :) Those 4 days without him around in spore weren't that bad actually, prolly because I've been too busy with my exam preparations and studying conscientiously. :) But anyway he called me every night too, so it wasn't that bad. He bought an adidas jacket for me and yes, now we have the similar one cos it's the same as his! Couple jacket sounds cool eh. And this silly boy bought some cutesy keychain too. :)

Damn, I'm alone at home again! Parents went to the expo sale ( I WANTED TO GO!) and bro went Tampines1 with his gf ( I WANNA GO TOOO!!) And what the hell am I doing at home? Studying studying STUDYING! I seriously can't wait for exams to end! Better come quick.

It's 1.15am now and I'm blogging at such an unearthly hour when I have a lecture tomorrow at 10am! Okay I know I shouldn't be here, but I need a break from all the mugging! Been studying Econs the whole day and hell, I gotta say I'M LOVING ECONS MORE & MORE! Not being sarcastic here, but apparently, it's one of the only modules that I'm really really interested in and enjoy studying it. Praying for a distinction for Econs for the coming exams! :)

Yeah soccer! MACHEDA scored the crucial winning goal against Sunderland again! Must I emphasize on the word again? It was sucha nerve-wrecking game yesterday, especially when the rest of the Big4 went on to win their respective matches. So it was a must-win for Manutd and boy, they managed to win it again at the most unexpected moment! Kudos to Macheda the SUPERSUB who miraculously scored the winning goal with just a mere contact with the ball. Honestly, it was 70% luck I'd say. Macheda was just there at the right time, right moment, and the goal was scored effortlessly. But ohwell, luck or not, I'm just glad Manutd won. :) Let's see if the wonderboy can do any magic again in the 2nd leg of Porto match.

MANCHESTER UNITED had a lead over Aston Villa in stoppage time! The goal came unexpectedly and I was only hoping that they could maintain a draw when Ronaldo equalized. Never thought that this young dude would score in his debut match and the thrilling part came when he gave Man Utd the lead which was crucial to the title race! Skills tuned to P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N. Omfg. I was just superrrr OVERJOYED when he scored. :) Kudos to Macheda!

Ah, but what a disappointing end to the F1 Malaysian Grand Prix! Blame it all on the rainy weather in malaysia and gosh, it wasn't just a drizzle, the torrential rain was the cause to sucha dramatic end yesterday! I was still hoping that Raikkonen could at least win some points this time since he started 9th on the grid, and that ultimate liar Hamilton started as 13th on the grid ( I just don't want him to win. Heh.) But argh, I guess it was all fate that gave Jenson Button the second win. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that Ferrari will bounce back into their winning streak soon and win whatever they can!

The boyf just sent me a really meaningful email. =)

The girl in the picture is Katie Kirkpatrick, she is 21 . Next to her, her fiancé, Nick, 23. The picture was taken shortly before their wedding ceremony, held on January 11, 2005 in the US .
Katie has terminal cancer and spend hours a day receiving medication.

In the picture, Nick is waiting for her on one of the many sessions of quimo to end.

In spite of all the pain, organ failures, and morphine shots, Katie is going along with her wedding and took care
of every detail. The dress had to be adjusted a few times due to her constant weight loss

An unusual accessory at the party was the oxygen tube that katie used throughout the ceremony and reception as well.

The other couple in the picture are Nick's parents. Excited to see her son marrying his high school sweetheart.

Katie died five days after her wedding day. Watching a woman so ill and weak getting married and with a smile on her face makes us think.....

It was nothing but pure fun today! :)

It's rare that I can get to meet the boyf on weekdays except during his lunch hours, but he took half day leave today because he had FTT in the afternoon.

So he met me at Borders after work, I was reading a book on Financial Analysis and seriously, I don't know what even made me to take that book off the shelf. Haha okay, I admit I headed straight to the magazines section initially, but I had a hard time finding an english version of the Manchester United magazine. All they had was a stack of manutd magazine in CHINESE. Gosh, I didn't even dare to touch it 'cause I know I wouldn't understand most of the words there. So I gave up, strolled down the row of book shelves. Something which says "INVESTING" caught my eye for I don't know why, and I started scrutinizing at some of the book titles.

*TADAAA!*

Okay, so what intrigued me was a book on Finanical Analysis. I'm puzzled by the fact that I am actually interested in that book when I'm having a hard time persuading myself to open my Banking&Finance lecture notes and textbook! But well oh well, I got kinda engrossed as I read on and now I'm enticed by the whole financial thingy. It's interesting. :) Wheee, I've finally found a way to convince myself that Banking&Finance ain't exactly a boring course aftertall! Someday, I might be the next Warren Buffett who is one of the world's most successful investors and the largest shareholder and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway! Hahaha, stay tuned, guys! :)

Alright, back to the boyf. :) He suggested having nasi lemak at Lucky Plaza for lunch, and I agreed without any contemplation since all his recommendations on food were reliable so far. Yesyes, he's one GREAT eater I'd say. Heh, I'm so gonna get my own car one day so that we can drive around singapore for food-hunts. :) Headed to BBDC straight and this smartyass of mine opened his FTT book for the 1st time on the bus when his test is only about an hour away! -.- Smartyass became sleepyhead, and fell asleep on the bus! And guess what, he actually passed his FTT on his first attempt when he only studied for 10min?! Frankly speaking, I was VERY impressed that he could actually pass this time round. (Sheeesh, I didn't tell him this straight into his face 'cause I know he's gonna get big-headed. Heh.) But oh well anyway, congrats boyf! Faster get a car and be my chauffeur soon yeah? HAHAHA. :)

Went to his house to rest for a little while before he sent me to my sis's place. We were practically teasing each other the whole day and he's one goddamn irritating boyf who likes to imitate anything that I say or do! Hahaha he was doing it for the whole day but I didn't get pissed 'cos it was fun afterall! :) We've always been like that even before we started and all the teasings and bickerings were fun. :) And yeah, I was hyper the whole day too, couldn't stop crapping and it was as though I was on ecstasy. Lol. But it was all in the name of fun, fun, and more FUN! :) :) :)

The boyf is undoubtedly the cutest animal in the world. :)

Grandpa's 90th birthday yesterday! Had a sumptuous dinner at International Seafood restaurant. Food was yummylicious especially CRABS! It was curry crab instead of the usual chilli/black pepper crab.

I'm so glad that my grandpa is still healthy and living on well though he's already 90! :)

And yup, the boyf went along with me too! Okay firstly, this purely wasn't my idea. It was my grandma, mummy and 2 other aunties who kept asking me to bring him along for grandpa's birthday dinner. I'm glad everyone was friendly to him and my grandma loveeees him! She kept praising him and she even called my mum today and they were talking about him! Hahahaha, my cute ahma. :D

My oh my, I'm seriously getting unhealthy lately. I'm depending way too much on caffeine to keep myself awake through the day. Weird, it's not as if I haven't been having enough sleep but I'd get sleeeeepy especially after lunch. Okay, I'm gonna make an accentuation here.

1) I feel sleepy because I'm mugging all day.
2) I feel sleepy because I sleep for about 10hours a day.
(P.S: I get sleepy after sleeping too much)

Yeah, you guessed it, I belong to the latter! I know this is really bad since exams are barely 2 months away but but BUT I just can't get myself to mug all day like what I did for A's. The only consolation is that, I'm TRYING real hard to squeeeeeeze every single info and fact I need to know into my tiny weeeeeeeny brain. I'm trying. :)

Oh, and I'm having some sort of a "chocolate-overdose" recently too! Like you know amid my revision I'd think of random stuffs like having a TALL and HUGE chocolate fondue right in front of me, devouring and savoring strawberries/marshmellows dipped in hot melted chocolate! I'm gonna start saving up for a Chocolate Buffet @ Fullerton! And yes, I've been munching on Mars bars and RittersSport chocolate while studying. That's uber sinful argh!

HOLY COW !

I was ecstatic when Ronaldo scored the penalty.....
We were leading 1-0 at the 23rd minute when..........

What a nightmare! My dearest MANUTD boys lost to that pile of poo at Old Trafford! Vidic has been sucha reliable defender all the while and is claimed to be one of the best and most solid centre-back, but the worst has happened! Firstly, he gifted Torres the equalizer.
AND THEN HE GOT SENT OFF FOR A BAD TACKLE!

I was still hopeful when we were 2-1 down! I was thinking that we'd probably equalize 2-2 and that'd be good enough. THEN EVRA GAVE AWAY A PENALTY!?!?!! And for god knows why, Manutd lost their form and composure after they were 2-1 down and gave it all away. What a humiliation.
:(

Best of all, the boyf and I went to CHIJMES and we stood throughout the whole match! I swear my feet is friggin' sore now cos I was wearing a 2 inches high heels. -.- Hahaha and I was screaming and shrieking during the match! The boyf can substantiate that. And yes, I was jumping on my heels too. LOL.

Anyway anyway, I'm sure MANUTD will get back on their feet from now on and win the rest of the matches!We are still 4 points ahead with a game in hand. :)
