2009's approaching in about 48hours from now. 48 hours!
I seriously can't believe that 2009 is coming so soon.
Why is time passing so quickly?
I used to think that every day seems like an eternity when I was younger, but all that seems to be changing now.
Months after months, an event of a couple of years ago feels like yesterday.
It's not as if I lead a particularly boring life, rather that life seems to be speeding by now faster than it ever has and I'm losing the sense of having experienced every day to the fullest.
Chronologically speaking, I know it's all just a matter of perception. But it's still true to some extent I guess.

New year resolutions?
Hmm, do well in my exams in May and then enjoy all I can after that for about 3 months.
I can't wait.
Oh, and did I tell ya my last paper is on 15th May?
I was soooo happy while checking my timetable last night! So coincidental.

Had a splendid day with the boyf on xmas eve!
Went Thumper @ Goodwood Park Hotel with his friends.
Ambience wasn't that good but I guess it's still the company that matters most.
The countdown was kinda abrupt and it's so weird 'cause they started from 5sec instead of 10sec.
Then HEY it's christmas before we even realized it HAHA.
Oh, and do you guys know that I can't drink for nuts?!
Drank about slightly less than 3 glasses of vodka lime/green tea and I got all flushing red with a throbbing headache.
I'm sucha poor drinker. :(

But still, it's my best xmas ever. EVER.
I got to spend it with the special one, I couldn't ask for more.
And thanks a million, trillion, gazillion for that pretty pair of earrings boyf!
It was a surprise xmas gift and gosh, words couldn't explain how touched I was when you gave it to me.
Silly me almost burst out crying with tears of joy.

What is love? What's a relationship all about?

I'm kinda inspired to post this entry because I've just learnt that one of my friends have just broken up with her boyfriend of about, 2 years? Okay here goes. I've been reading her blog quite regularly for the past one year. She literally mentioned how sweet, how caring, how wonderful her boyfriend was in every entry that she posted. I gotta admit I was so awww-ed by it while I was reading the posts that I wished I could be in one of these kinda relationships then. Praises of him were seen everywhere on her blog and their relationship somewhat seemed like a never-ending one to me, pretty much like those you read in fairytales where "happily ever after" actually exists. What really caught me by surprise was, they broke up so suddenly that I thought I was reading the wrong blog. Well okay, I don't have a single idea of what actually happened though so I wouldn't probe into that.

I slumped in my chair, thoughts whirling through my mind.

"Boy meets girl, they fell in love, they said they'd love each other forever, and they live happily ever after."
What a cliche. If you think that that sentence still holds true, perhaps you should stop living in your own illusionary world. ( Wait a minute. Before I go on any further, I just wanna clarify that I'm not having problems in my relationship but I'm just expressing my thoughts and feelings towards this whole complexed relationship thingy, so don't worry my friends.) Nothing lasts forever, unless you're referring to married couples who have practised monogamy in their lives, so perhaps saying "I love you forever" does make some sense afterall. Many people say those 4 oh-i-said-it-on-impulse words without even knowing the whole damn meaning of it, and if any gullible person were to take those words for real and go crying a river after your bf/gf dumps you, there's just one word to describe you- naive.

How true. The boyf was just telling me how his friend got cheated by his gf the other day. She cheated his money and he's dumb enough to spend 40k(if I'm not wrong) on her in a year. That's daylight robbery please! I have seriously no idea what's on his mind and what was it that made him agree to all her way too ridiculous requests. Is love really that powerful that it can make a person fail to differentiate right from wrong? Can love really be that efficacious in making someone believe everything that you said?
The love guru says: It's all right to love someone THAT much, but know your limits and don't be always the one who is giving in. Be sensible and know the right things to do.

Committment is indispensable in a relationship. Do the best you can for him/her.
Yes yes, certainly. I'd say being committed is of utmost importance in a relationship. You have to make sacrifices for him, giving up some of your leisure time like shopping/sleeping/hanging out with your friends for him. And when he calls you up and asks why aren't you back yet or who are you hanging out with, blaming him for being over-protective is the last thing you should do.
The love guru says: Appreciate him for being concerned. If he doesn't give a hoot about you, why should he bother if you're back home safely or who are you with? And when you love a person, you wouldn't mind sacrificing your precious time for him.

Love can do wonders, as easy as how a magician waves his wand and poof, a rabbit appears right in front of you.
So this is how amazing love can be. You had a gloomy day, ominous dark clouds hung drearily in the sky with the tumultuous rumbles of thunder. Then, your handphone beeps with that familiar ringtone and you hear that sexy husky voice over the phone. From frowning to a silly wide smile, you'd feel as if the downpour has just ended and poof, here's the colourful rainbow after the rain! And then you'd end your day by smiling to yourself to sleep and hugging the soft toy he gave it to you tightly. Sweet dreams after that.
The love guru says: Treasure your partner like a precious gem. You'll never know when are you gonna find the next person who can make you feel this way like he/she does. Not a dime a dozen, not one in a million, but once in a lifetime maybe?


Love's sucha a complicated thing. After all my past relationships and the one that I'm in now, I reckon there's like endless definitions to the word Love. Many of which seems like a paradox to one another. What an irony. One simple word with just four letters, who could ever understand the complexity of it?

I wonder.

Had a fever yesterday of about 38.3 deg yesterday. :( I swear it felt so horrible 'cause my whole body's aching and my breath was soooo hot. Thank goodness my fever has subsided and I'm all fine now whee! (:

The boyf was so cute. "Go take some ryanadol okie?", he said. LOL. =)

Met the boyf for lunch and dinner today! Happy happy. :D Went PepperLunch for dinner and I love it when he mixes the sauce and everything for me. Had a great day wheee! (:

Yes yes, I know I sound like a really happy girl here. Hee prolly because christmas is just around the corner! My favourite festive season of the year! But it's gonna be a lil different this year cos I'm counting down to x'mas in town with the boyf on x'mas eve!

Argh, but I've got so many events coming up within 2 weeks.

1) My uni's pageant/bash @ Zouk this thursday which I don't think I'm going.
2) Mel's belated birthday celebration at Mind Cafe next tuesday (Confirmed)
3) Ray's house party @ Mt.Sophia on 27th ( Tentative)
4) Jing Jie's x'mas party at his Kovan house on 27th ( Tentative)
5) Stay-over at the boyf's place on x'mas eve. (CONFIRMED)

Okay okay, I know I sound biased here. Haha. Both of them are already pressurizing me to give them my reply but I still can't make up my mind yet. =/

Staying over at my sis's house at redhill for a week, and I gotta say I love it here more than my own house at pasir ris!
1. There's a straight bus from redhill to town and it takes only 15min.
2. Near to the city.
3. Only 4 stops from school.
4. MUCH NEARER TO CHOA CHU KANG!

Lol I actually told my sister if I could, I would apply for a PR at her house. It's so convenient! And it also means I can see the boyf more often too!

Roar, exams will be here in about 3mths time. I FREAKING NEED TO MUG HARDDDDD! Haven't been studying much these few days prolly because xmas is coming soon and I'M IN THE SHOPPING MOOD. Argh!
